Baptist Health Louisville, located in beautiful Louisville, Kentucky, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Security Manager to lead the hospital’s security operations and support our commitment to providing a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and employees.

The Security Manager has 24-hour responsibility for the leadership, oversight, and daily operations of the hospital’s Security Department. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service. The Manager oversees security operations, responds to safety and security concerns, investigates incidents, and ensures effective communication and collaboration among hospital leadership, staff, and other key stakeholders. This role requires strong leadership, sound judgment, and the ability to effectively manage challenging situations in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Requirements

A minimum of two years of security management experience required; hospital or healthcare experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license required.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Experience with the TASER X26P, including course completion and instructor certification, preferred. Required training and certification must be completed following hire if not already obtained.
Strong leadership, communication, critical thinking, conflict resolution, and customer service skills essential for success in this position.
