Position Title: Security Ambassador

Reports To: Security Manager/Director of Facilities 
Classification: Non-Exempt

Job Description  
The Security Ambassador at Scottsdale National Golf Club will be responsible for greeting all members and their guests with a service level this is unrivaled in the golf industry, in addition to providing a safe and secure environment to enjoy year-round. Responsibilities 
Maintains a professional, respectful and hospitality approach in all interactions 
Greets members and invited guests upon arrival and communicates requests to appropriate 
staff members 
Maintains accountability of all vendors and/or external guests entering/moving about the 
property, and professionally de-escalates situations as needed 
Directs traffic as needed 
Follows company policies and procedures, is highly confidential, and protects proprietary 
information and company assets 
Ensures all required communications are sent in a timely manner 
Communicates efficiently through email, phone, and/or radio 
Monitors surveillance systems 
Assists other departments and teams with duties as directed 
 
Qualifications 
Must obtain certifications in AED, CPR, and First Aid (these are company provided) 
Must possess a valid, current drivers’ license and a clean driving record 
Must possess strong communication skills 
Exhibit strong hospitality and customer service approach 
High School diploma or equivalent education 
Ability to speak, read and write English, Spanish speaking proficiency a plus 
Military or security experience within a luxury retail, resort, hotel or hospitality environment 
highly preferred 
 
Working Conditions 
Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and/or holidays as needed 
This position requires the ability to lift and/or move items up to 50lbs 
This position is required to stand for long periods of time
