Description

The successful candidate will provide engineering design, site supervision and resident engineering services for engineering projects carried out or prepared by the Water Authority Cayman.  The successful candidate will also provide engineering support to the Authority’s operational divisions.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Civil, Mechanical or related Engineering discipline from an accredited institution. 
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng., PE, CEng.) designation or equivalent internationally recognized professional engineering qualification is preferred. 
• Minimum 5 years relevant post-graduate engineering experience, including the design, construction supervision, and inspection of projects.
• Strong working knowledge of engineering principles, practices, standards and regulations relating to water and wastewater infrastructure. 
• Previous experience with advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) would be advantageous. 
• Advanced computer literacy, including the use of Microsoft Office applications, and engineering software such as AutoCAD is essential. 
• Ability to communicate effectively and build productive working relationships with management, colleagues, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders. 
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound professional judgment and manage competing priorities with minimal supervision.
