The Court Security Deputy is a Sworn member. The Court Security Deputies are responsible for maintaining order and security of the Clay County Courthouse, its adjacent parking areas, the safety of all its occupants (judges, court personnel, citizens and employer), serving and executing enforceable court orders, court proceedings and the care, custody and control of inmates.
