Description

Western Australian Veterinary Emergency and Specialty (WAVES) currently require permanent Emergency and Critical Care Veterinarians to join our growing team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, compassionate veterinarians. If you have great communication skills, a can-do attitude, love being a part of a supportive team, and work well under pressure, then you may be the person we are looking for.

At WAVES we pride ourselves on looking after our team members and creating a supportive work environment. In addition to working in a modern purpose-built hospital with a multi-disciplinary team of emergency and critical care specialists, internal medicine specialists, specialist surgeons, dermatologist, anaesthetist, radiologist, with access to MRI, CT, ventilation and all of the equipment required to support a high level of diagnostics and care, we will also provide you with:

Applicants must have at least 2 years general practice experience for a junior position or at least 2 years emergency experience to apply for a senior position. Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists Membership qualifications will be viewed favorably, as is previous experience in emergency and critical care, though neither of these is essential. The base annual salary ranges from AUD $60,000 to $120,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications with veterinarians paid for every hour they work on shift.

Requirements

Applicants must have at least 2 years of general practice experience for a junior position or at least 2 years of emergency experience for a senior position and must have a degree registerable in Australia.
