Job DutiesCreate and modify LOPA drawings.Create and modify Engineering Orders as required to comply with regulatory requirements and company needs.Review Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and other source documents to determine applicability and provide accomplishment recommendations.Develop solutions to in-service aircraft interior issues which may impact the flight schedule.Coordinate engineering activities as needed with other internal Allegiant departments such as:##Materials/Purchasing##Maintenance Planning##Maintenance Control##Heavy Maintenance##FinanceRespond dynamically to the request from maintenance or any other airline department to resolve technical issues.Serve as a Technical Expert for Interior items.Coordinates with the FAA, OEM, or other airline departments to assist with implementation of engineering documents.Assist with CASP analysis and development of reliability initiatives.Other duties as assigned by the ManagerKnowledge of FAR regulations related to interiors, and other government requirements for passenger safety and accommodation.Interior configuration and arrangementInstallation and modification of cabin/flight compartment furnishings.Seats, lavatories and Galleys.Ceilings, overhead stowage units, passenger service units.Sidewall lining, insulation and panels.Flooring covering, raceways and escape path lighting.Doors and slides.Emergency equipment.Cargo systems.Other duties as assigned.
