Role Overview
The Senior Project Engineer is a key technical leader within our Wastewater Solutions Division, responsible for managing and engineering high-impact projects across the Food & Beverage sector. You will drive the design of customized treatment systems, mentor junior engineers, and ensure timely delivery within budget and compliance standards.
Job Responsibilities
Lead process engineering and project management activities for large-scale wastewater treatment and water reclamation projects
Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to define scope, goals, and deliverables
Design comprehensive treatment systems using advanced technologies, including: - Anaerobic digestion - Membrane bioreactors (MBR) - Dissolved air flotation (DAF) - Nutrient reduction (biological/chemical) - Biogas recovery and water reuse systems
Conduct feasibility studies, budget development, permitting documentation, and regulatory alignment
Ensure quality engineering deliverables through detailed design, AutoCAD/3D modeling, and process documentation
Supervise and mentor team members, fostering growth through hands-on guidance and technical leadership
Oversee project scheduling, cost control, and risk management strategies
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, or equivalent
10+ Years of wastewater treatment engineering and/or design
Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary engineering projects and teams
Deep understanding of biological, chemical, and physical wastewater treatment processes
Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills
Proficiency in MS Office suite and project tracking tools
Self-driven, detail-oriented, and solution-focused
