Requirements
Required qualifications:
BS minimum (advanced degree preferred) in Chemical Engineering (or relevant engineering/science field) with thin-film deposition and dry-etch experience.
5 years of professional experience (post-degree) with CVD thin-film deposition methods. Especially techniques that use plasma, laser, or other energy enhancement.
Demonstrated hands-on experience with the design, build, and operation of thin-film deposition equipment, processes, process monitoring, analysis techniques, and vacuum systems used in CVD applications.
Example report, publication, presentation, or similar documentation of qualifications and experience required.
Additional skills:
Photochemistry concepts and applications, Laser systems (optics, sources, and applications), Finite Element Analysis (fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, process engineering and modeling of gas flow for thin-film precursor chemistries from solid, liquid, and gas sources), cleanroom, molecular chemistry characterization, project management, design of experiments (collecting and analyzing complex data sets), SolidWorks CAD experience designing complete process systems (detailed 3D models of components, assemblies, and systems), microelectronics product/application development, International Standards (SEMI, CE, UL, etc.), technical sales, small business environment, marketing, publishing and presenting of research work.
