Description

(Rochester Hills, MI) Manage and optimize manufacturing processes using ERP system to analyze and solve business problems, including development of integrated production and inventory control and cost analysis systems. Develop, document, revise, and implement ERP manufacturing modules and Mach2 MES system, including assembly processes, test procedures, and quality standards. Oversee opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, enhance system functionality, and optimize production performance to increase compatibility and to efficiently share information. Use object-oriented programming languages, and oversee configuration, testing, and validation of PLC data tags used by Mach2, whisker switches, and other interfaces. Implement PLEX ERP integration manufacturing module to test, maintain, and monitor the programs and systems, including its coordination, documentation, and installation, with a focus on Control Panel, Production Jobs, Parts/BOMs/Routers, Checksheets, and Source Material loading/unloading. Manage resources, labor, equipment, and materials to support production activities and determine computer software and hardware needed to modify systems. Capture and analyze quality-related data, monitor product quality, and initiate corrective actions using techniques such as structured analysis, data modeling, and information engineering.

Requirements

Minimum of Master's degree in Computer and Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology Management, or related field and 18 months' experience as IT Analyst II, ERP Manufacturing Specialist, or related position implementing PLEX ERP system required.
