Join Macquarie's Aggregate Risk and Prudential team and help shape prudential risk across our UK and European regulated businesses. We deliver core expertise in prudential policy, ICAAP oversight, stress testing, risk appetite, recovery and resolution planning, Board reporting, risk culture, and model risk management. Working at the centre of our Risk Management Group, you'll partner closely with diverse businesses, influence key decisions, and help drive resilience in a fast-moving regulatory landscape.

What role will you play?
You deepen your expertise in prudential rules and regulations as you focus on regulatory horizon scanning, including obligation management and risk reporting, which is a vital part of Macquarie's ongoing oversight of prudential regulatory compliance. Reporting into the Risk Governance team and as part of the Aggregate Risk and Prudential team, you monitor regulatory developments, assess their impact and guide stakeholders across regions as they implement change. You shape and maintain prudential risk policies, support Board level reporting and help ensure accurate, meaningful risk insights for senior leaders. You also collaborate closely with colleagues across disciplines to strengthen prudential frameworks, contribute to operational risk assessments and support the broader governance responsibilities of the team. What you offer
Experience working with prudential regulatory frameworks in the UK and EU, including Capital Requirements Regulation and Directive, Investment Firm Regulation and Directive, and the Investment Firm Prudential Regime
Ability to interpret regulatory change, assess impacts and contribute to the development of robust frameworks
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, maintain accuracy under time pressure and deliver across multiple workstreams
Confident communication and relationship building skills, with a collaborative approach and commitment to a strong compliance culture
Experience working autonomously and managing bespoke projects from planning through to delivery

Our Risk Management Group works as an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie's material risks. We are a global team that aims to manage the risks of today and anticipate the risks of tomorrow. Our divisions include compliance, credit, financial crime risk, market risk, operational risk, aggregate risk and prudential, and central.
