Senior Solar Project Engineer wanted by Solar Landscape LLC in Asbury Park, NJ.
Design and Engineer PV and BESS systems from 100 kW to 5 MW in size. Generate accurate and detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD for one line and three-line diagrams, electrical layouts, AC/DC schematics, AC/DC cable schedules, wiring diagrams, grounding, trenching and conduit details. Perform LVAC, MVAC and DC calculations related to cable sizing, voltage drop and string sizing. Perform site specific energy modelling using PVSYST and SAM. Manage individual projects and project-portfolios by leading client calls, respond to RFIs, review submittals and perform site visits. Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade and jurisdictional safety standards, practices and codes.
Reqmts: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Energy Engineering or Energy Systems Engineering and one (1) year experience as Senior Solar Project Engineer or Solar Engineer I- Utility performing following job duties: Design and Engineer PV and BESS systems from 100 kW to 5 MW in size. Salary: $120,000 - $132,000 / year.
