As the site safety liaison, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of field service employees, protecting the environment, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. You will lead inspections; toolbox talks and work collaboratively with various departments to ensure site and customer safety requirements are met. You will attend critical pre-job safety meetings and collaborate with the customer on prevention strategies to ensure safe fulfillment of the service work.
Requirements
What you’ll do
Lead the safety initiative for 30 field service engineers and promote a strong safety and environmental culture. Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and industry EH&S regulations and standards applicable to the site and in the context of the work. Develop, implement, and improve EH&S programs and policies aligned with customer and company goals.
Provide leadership and direction to the site team, fostering a culture of safety and environmental stewardship. Collaborate with the stakeholder groups and cross functional teams to integrate EH&S into operations.
Develop and implement accountability systems for consistently measuring and leading initiatives and continuous performance improvement. set goals for improvement and methods to monitor results.
Manage systems for monitoring and reporting EH&S performance, driving continuous improvement and corrective actions. Oversee risk assessments, hazard identification, and incident investigations. Maintain processes that support EH&S programs and ensure documentation and compliance.
