As a Principal Algorithm Research Engineer, you will play a core role within the algorithms team, responsible for researching and proposing novel algorithms to address one of the following problems:
Designing and developing algorithms to simulate intelligent virtual forces (AI CGF, Agent, Multi-Agent) in battlefield environments using machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques.
GNSS positioning and inertial navigation: sensor calibration (e.g., magnetometers) and magnetic field mapping methods that currently lack accuracy due to incompatibility with equipment and conditions in Vietnam.
Research and deployment of image processing and AI algorithms for SAR radar systems on UAVs, aircraft, and satellites.
Designing AI architectures to support navigation, autonomous guidance, and obstacle avoidance.
In addition, you will define technology directions, research cutting-edge technologies and novel algorithmic approaches to support the corporation’s projects, and tackle complex algorithm-related challenges across multiple domains within the organization.
Requirements
Master or PhD in Electronics / Information Technology / Artificial Intelligence or related fields.
Author of at least 5 publications in reputable journals (e.g., IEEE, SCI, etc.).
At least 7 years of continuous experience in algorithm research.
Hands-on experience working with real-world systems, with a solid understanding of the relationship between theory and practice.
Strong ability to read and comprehend existing algorithms from reference materials (including textbooks and scientific papers.
Good programming skills to perform preliminary evaluation and validation of proposed algorithmsIn-depth knowledge of relevant domains and strong problem-solving capabilities.
Solid foundation in advanced mathematics and applied mathematics.
Preferred candidates: Have experience leading research teams, national key laboratories, or reputable academic units in science and technology, both domestically and internationally or serve as a leading expert in their field within an academic department, laboratory, or equivalent unit at universities, research institutes, or R&D centers of international-scale companies in fields similar to our Corporation.
