MS Technology, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support design, development, and integration of electrical systems for complex engineering projects. The Electrical Engineer will design, develop, and oversee the installation and testing of electrical systems and equipment to support facility and process operations. Typical work includes power distribution, instrumentation and controls, and electrical systems supporting specialized facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will bring at least five (5) years of relevant engineering experience and a strong understanding of applicable industry codes and standards.
Responsibilities:
Apply engineering principles to design, develop, and test electrical systems and equipment.
Develop technical documentation, drawings, and specifications in accordance with project requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, designers, and engineers from multiple disciplines to ensure integration and accuracy across design packages.
Provide technical input and troubleshooting support during fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases.
Ensure compliance with applicable electrical, safety, and design standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA, IEEE).
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of complex tasks requiring creativity, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Requirements
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline required.
Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in electrical design, facility systems, or industrial project environments.
Master’s degree or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred.
DOE Q-Clearance preferred or ability to obtain.
Additional Skills:
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Skilled in managing multiple priorities and resolving conflicts in fast-paced settings.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint).
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or other electrical design software is a plus
