The Compliance and Risk Officer is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across teams, translating regulation into practical controls, and helping the business stay ahead of risk.
You will support the delivery of compliance, privacy and risk frameworks across the region, ensuring alignment with local regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
Responsibilities include - Supporting the delivery and ongoing improvement of regional privacy and compliance framework Conducting privacy impact assessments and compliance reviews Reviewing client contracts to ensure regulatory and data protection alignment Monitoring regulatory obligations across APAC payment services Identifying compliance gaps and supporting remediation actions Contributing to risk assessments, control reviews and maintenance of risk registers Supporting internal audits and compliance reporting Requirements - 3–5 years’ experience in Compliance, Risk, Privacy or Internal Controls Experience within payments, financial services, fintech or another high regulated environment Strong understanding of privacy principles (including GDPR concepts and APAC regulations) Working knowledge of risk and control frameworks Confidence reviewing contracts and identifying compliance risks Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical business solutions Clear communication skills and strong attention to detail A proactive, solutions-focused mindset Relevant certifications (e.g. CIPP, CRISC, CISA) are advantageous but not essential If your experience aligns with the above, and you're looking for a regional compliance role within a dynamic APAC payments environment, please apply for immediate consideration.
