What You’ll Do
As a Senior Civil Engineer at Toole Design, you’ll lead the design and delivery of highly visible transportation projects. You’ll guide civil design teams on temporary and permanent safety improvement projects to multimodal capacity expansion projects with innovative intersection treatments to major capital projects —collaborating with clients and interdisciplinary teams from concept through construction. Along the way, you’ll mentor junior staff, lead client meetings, and turn complex challenges into creative, buildable solutions. You’ll also support business development across Massachusetts and the Northeast, growing as a trusted expert in a company that promotes from within.

We are targeting a salary range of $130,000 to $160,000 for this position.

Requirements
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within six months
- 10+ years of complex transportation and project management experience
- Proven leadership of multi-discipline infrastructure design and construction teams
- Strong networks and relationships in the North Carolina transportation market, including existing clients with the DOT, municipalities, and other consulting firms
- It would be a plus if you have design and project management experience in both multimodal transportation and roadway design projects, and you are comfortable presenting on projects and in pursuit interviews
