 General/Trauma and Critical Care Surgeon

Cal Med Physicians and Surgeons, Inc. is seeking a general surgeon with specialties in trauma and critical care (surgical intensivist) with a few years of experience to serve as the director of a surgical intensive care unit and associate program director for a general surgery residency program at a large tertiary care hospital with a Level I trauma center in the Inland Empire area of Southern California. Position offers: guaranteed income (base salary plus on-call pay) with performance bonus, health benefits (medical and dental), 401K profit sharing plan with employee and employer contributions, six weeks paid time off, flexible trauma call schedule (shared practice model with six call days on average per month), 1-2 surgery clinic days per week, clinical faculty appointment at new, affiliated medical school, malpractice insurance, dues for professional society memberships/CME, relocation reimbursement.
