To provide technical engineering and support of the Farm Bureau Family of Companies Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure components. To focus on installation, maintenance and upgrades on computing systems, storage systems, telephone systems and server systems. To engage in continuous collaboration across multiple IT groups for improved project success. To provide project planning within the IT division projects. To provide architectural guidance, consultation, recommendations, and problem resolution for all Infrastructure components. To provide processing and support for business applications and computer operations, reporting, project delivery and strategic planning services to satisfy requirements for all divisions of the Insurance Companies and affiliated companies as requested.

Design, develop, implement, and manage enterprise level Windows environment, including multiple Active Directory domains
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science required, or equivalent experience may be considered.
Minimum four years diverse technical experience, including experience in Microsoft Windows and VMware Virtualization technologies in a large multi-server WAN environment required.
Experience in both physical and virtual computing environments, storage platform knowledge, Ethernet knowledge, TCP/IP experience, switching and router technologies, and security technologies required.
Strong organizational skills required.
Proven ability to communicate well with both end-users and technical personnel, and to do research and development of products in a timely manner required.
Note: This is a Hybrid position working both Remotely from the State of Michigan, and three days per week On-site at the Farm Bureau Center located in Lansing, Michigan.
