Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Intern
Job Type: Internship
Location: Auburn, IN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Intern to join our Aluminum Die Casting team in the Engineering Department. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced engineers to learn and develop skills in manufacturing processes, quality control, and production management. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and procedures
- Conduct research and analysis to identify areas for process improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and timely delivery
- Participate in the design and testing of new products and processes
- Assist in the creation of production schedules and work instructions
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste
- Maintain accurate documentation of manufacturing processes and procedures

Requirements:- Currently pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering having completed 3 or more years of college courses (as of May 2026) with the desire to work in casting/manufacturing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with CAD software is a plus
