About the Role:
As a STEPS Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for both routine and unscheduled maintenance of building systems and electrical/mechanical support systems across campus. Your key duties include troubleshooting and repairing:
- Plumbing fixtures and minor HVAC systems (AHUs, reheats, coils, thermostats, valves)
- Mechanical and architectural components (locksets, door hardware)
- Wastewater piping systems—cutting, soldering, and threading various pipe types
- Minor fire alarm, nurse call, and medical gas system issues
- Electrical motors, pump systems, minor ice machine and steam system problems
- Minor roofing and automatic door concerns
