Description
Location:Bratislava, SKAre you passionate about master data management and eager to join a global team driving data excellence? We're looking for a skilled MDM Delivery Specialist to help us maintain and enhance our critical data infrastructure while delivering exceptional value to our business partners across Swiss Re.
About the Role
In this role, you'll be at the forefront of our data management initiatives, handling everything from incident resolution to complex ETL development. You would ensure our master data remains accurate, accessible, and secure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage incidents, problems, change requests, and infrastructure topics related to our MDM platforms
- Design and implement data quality checks and collaborate with data owners on follow-up actions
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using Oracle, PL/SQL, PowerCenter Informatica, and Azure to integrate data from various sources
- Create technical designs for interfaces and database applications, ensuring they meet business requirements
- Perform and document system technical tests and align them with infrastructure requirements
- Monitor and support the MDM landscape including EBX6, Oracle, DB2, MS SQL, Web services, and Informatica PowerCenter
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver optimal solutions for master data management
About the Team
We are a team of analysts and engineers, spread across multiple locations globally, driving the MDM function at Swiss Re.
We are responsible for driving all stages of software development lifecycle including business analysis, solution design and platform management for nearly 750 master data and reference data sets.
We are the main points of contact for our customers, business partners and enterprise architects for all MDM topics.
About You
You're a detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for data management. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy tackling complex technical challenges. With your strong analytical mindset and communication skills, you're able to translate business needs into technical solutions while maintaining high standards of data quality.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or equivalent field
- Previous experience with Oracle database development (Data modeling, Database design, SQL, PL/SQL)
- Solid knowledge of database development tools (i.e., TOAD, SQLPlus, GIT)
- Experience with ETL tools (PowerCenter, Azure Data Factory) and software development tools like Source Control (Git) and Build Tools (AzureDevOps)
These are additional nice to haves:
- Knowledge of data governance principles and practices
- Experience working in a global, distributed team environment
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 2,400] and [EUR 4,100] per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
- the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits.
Eligibility may vary depending on the terms of Swiss Re policies and your employment contract.
