Maintenance Electrician

Erie Foods International Inc. in Rochelle, Illinois is looking for a full-time Maintenance Electrician. Primary Responsibility of this position will be the Electrical Maintenance and Repairs of production equipment at facilities in Rochelle and Erie IL. This is a multi-craft electrical-mechanical position with primary responsibility electrical.

The successful applicant will have:

1. A combination of an Associate Degree or diploma in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or any other related field of study plus 2-3 years of experience as an electrician.

2. Knowledge of the N.E.C. and relevant OSHA requirements.

3. Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions (e.g, equipment manuals, electric prints, PIDs, etc.) and to communicate effectively in oral and written form using English.

4. Prior knowledge of electrical controls (e.g., PLCs, motor drives, motor starters, etc.) and industrial electric systems including three phase (i.e., 480V, 220V) and 120V single phase circuits.

5. Work well as a team member as well as independently.

6. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and sit or stand for long periods of time.

7. Experience in the Food Industry and its regulations preferably.

This is a Full time Position that requires overtime as needed and must be on an "on call".. The primary shift is 7am - 3:30 pm M-F in our Rochelle Facility. $32.50/hr minimum, dependent on experience. Benefits are offered.
