Purpose
The Supplier Experience department is responsible to ensure that Source to Pay processes (including Purchase to Pay, Tactical Procurement and TPRM) are working effectively & efficiently, are well controlled and drive value for Diageo, also ensuring control agenda (SOX compliance) across all areas as well.
The LAC Credit Risk Authority is acting as the first point of contact for the markets to ensure accurate counterparty risk evaluations, this person works closely with compliance officer, legal, TPRM and FDs to evaluate credit risk exposure to clients and vendors does not affect business continuity.
The role requires a solid understanding of financial analysis, risk profiling, and credit bureau systems, and works closely with the Third Party Risk Management and procurement teams in business partnering, liaising with internal & external collaborators. The role holder may be tasked to raise POs and complete related tasks.
Accountabilities
- Acting as the first point of contact for the markets for vendor/client's credit risk assessment.
- Build active and positive relationships with users, and Procurement collaborators.
- Provide support that facilitates the accurate, efficient and timely setup and approval of credit limits, risk profile and business criticality exposure.
- Support and management of the credit bureau tool subscription, management and information confidentiality.
- Ensure routine reviews of key vendors/clients according to the agreed risk profile and business exposure.
- Handle E2E PO Lifecycle of all credit rating subscriptions.
- Handle and resolve credit review SLA's with markets and collaborators
- Prepare reports and analysis for review with FC, Legal and Procurement community and introduce supervising benchmarks.

- Cross Business: Global, Regional and In-market Procurement/Finance/Commercial/Legal teams and partners
- GDBS STP Service Delivery, FC, OTC Teams in all DBS locations
- Enterprise Ops functions / team members - for helping to resolve queries

Critical Finance Capabilities
- Act as process authority, assist with supplier and client's financial capability and compliance issues, and ensure front-end users follow the right processes.
- Highlight any potential process and knowledge gap, ensure proper resolution
- Demonstrate high ownership over Credit Risk assessment processes, their financial impact and business continuity
Qualifications / experience
- Demonstrate high ownership over Credit Risk assessment processes, their financial impact and business continuity
- Handle of SAP ERP FI and MM Modules
- Demonstrated ability in credit risk analysis, balance sheets and financial statements review and risk models
- Strong customer service skills
- Proven experience of building, developing and sustaining risk models and credit review with key stakeholders
- Internal controls awareness
Essential Skills:
- Can do attitude in driving for solutions taking business requirements in consideration
- Good understanding of risk assessment process
- Balance sheet and financial statement understanding
- Good communicative and influencing capabilities dealing with stakeholders
- Banking background is a plus
- Spanish, and English knowledge, Portuguese as a plus.
