We are seeking an engineer to join a global tier 1 trading firm.
Focused on supporting employees, improving automation, and strengthening the efficiency of core IT operations. This position combines hands‑on technical support with engineering work aimed at scaling internal systems and processes.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance scripted or code‑based automations to reduce repetitive support work and improve the team's overall operational capacity.
• Provide advanced technical assistance to internal users, acting as an escalation point for complex issues, particularly those related to Windows endpoints and performance diagnostics.
• Support and administer major internal platforms, including identity systems, workplace collaboration suites, ticketing tools, and communication applications.
• Work closely with procurement and asset‑management teams to track hardware, maintain lifecycle records, and ensure compliance with organisational standards.
• Manage or co‑manage account creation, hardware preparation, and regional onboarding workflows, ensuring an efficient and positive experience for new team members.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation to provide system support coverage, which may occasionally require weekend work.

Required Experience & Skills

• At least five years of experience in IT support within fast‑moving, technology‑driven environments.
• Strong proficiency Windows, with deep troubleshooting capability for Windows‑based hardware and software issues.
• Hands‑on administration of common SaaS platforms such as identity management systems, productivity suites, ticketing tools, and communication or conferencing software.
• Understanding of version‑control workflows and developer‑centric practices, including exposure to Git and CI/CD environments.
• Excellent analytical judgment, with the ability to identify underlying causes, spot trends, and work independently to resolve problems.
• A user‑focused mindset, strong communication skills, and a constructive, solutions‑oriented attitude.
