Saint Paul College is seeking energetic, dedicated individuals to join our Electrical Technology program as full-time faculty members. We are committed to academic excellence and fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Start Date: August 24, 2026
Training: Required the week before the semester begins

Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Hours may vary slightly depending on the assigned teaching schedule, with separate schedules for first- and third-semester classes.
• Flexibility available
• Hiring two full-time faculty members
• All classes held in-person

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver classroom and lab instruction
• Evaluate and advise students
• Develop and revise curriculum
• Participate in department and advisory meetings
• Engage in professional development
• Promote diversity and cultural competence
• Support program recruitment

Compensation & Benefits:

• 9-month academic year salary (late August–mid-May)
• Breaks: 2–3 weeks between semesters, 1-week Spring Break

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Two-year electrician diploma or registered apprenticeship completion
• Four years of full-time paid work experience as a licensed electrician
• One year of recent experience (or waiver with 5 years teaching)
• Minnesota Class A Journeyman Electrician License

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience teaching diverse student groups
• Experience in community/technical college
