Requirements

The Imperial Irrigation District a public utility located in southeastern CA is seeking to hire an Engineer I to perform professional engineering in the areas of planning, engineering design, construction and operation of the district electrical system, facilities and related projects; or the development and implementation of maintenance of electrical systems and power generation resources; operations regarding engineering functions; and oversee engineering projects. Performs other duties as assigned. 

Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, chemical engineering or related degree to assigned area and four years of professional engineering experience with a power utility.

 Engineer-In-Training Certificate (EIT) is required.
