This Opportunity:
Lead and oversee detailed design of airport infrastructure projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, buildings, and utilities
Ensure high standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout all phases of project delivery
Prepare comprehensive construction plans and specifications while actively contributing to project estimation and budgeting to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
Partner with Professional Engineers and Project Managers to define project scopes, develop task hour budgets, create schedules, prepare fee proposals, and lead federal and state grant application and management efforts
Stay at the forefront of industry excellence by mastering the latest airport design standards and innovative procedures.
Create and foster an empowered team environment by embracing individual accountability and contributing collaboratively to shared success.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline, demonstrating strong foundational knowledge and technical acumen Demonstrated experience leading planning, design, and execution of complex airport, FAA, and TXDOT projects,
Professional Engineer license in the State of Texas or ability to obtain within six months of hire date
Proven success managing airport design and construction projects and leading cross-functional teams from concept to completion
Consistent experience leading successful airport engineering projects within various regions throughout the state of Texas
This opportunity is open to candidates residing in the state of Texas
Preferred Qualifications:
Ten (10) years of demonstrated experience leading planning, design, and execution of complex airport, FAA, and TXDOT projects, applying deep expertise in construction standards and methodologies
Proven experience in proposal writing and client management with demonstrated ability to develop new business opportunities and win project proposals

Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $110,000 and $150,000 based on skill set and experience. Check out our full benefits package at SEH Hiring Journey.
