Job Summary
An Aerospace Engineer is needed to support the development and testing of software systems related to missile performance analysis. The role involves developing software test beds, conducting technical analysis, and preparing reports while working with a joint government-contractor team. The position requires strong programming and mathematical skills to help develop high-fidelity models and systems used for concept development, testing, and performance evaluation.

Security Clearance Requirement:
An Interim Secret clearance is required. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and able to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Aerospace Engineering
Strong mathematics background
Programming proficiency in languages such as C++, Python, or MATLAB
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a strong work ethic
Ability to work primarily on-site during initial months, with limited telework possible later
U.S. Citizenship required
Responsibilities
Contribute to the development of a software test bed for a tactical weapons control system
Work with a joint government and contractor team on highly technical projects
Develop high-fidelity models to support system concept development and testing
Conduct analysis of system and missile performance
Support testing, evaluation, and technical reporting
Preferred Skills and Experience
Proven ability to work both independently and within a technical team
Experience solving complex technical or engineering problems
For candidates with more than five years of experience, recent work should remain technical rather than managerial
Education
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Aerospace Engineering is required.
